Occupational therapy "work" related UK services mapping survey resultsThe Royal College of Occupational Therapists Specialist Section Work collected data from across the profession about occupational therapists involved in work-related service provision. This included those who were independent practitioners, Case Managers and Health and Work Champions. The aim was to create a database that would be accessible to contributors and members of RCOT SS Work that would: Geographically map work related services in the UK with occupational therapy input. Widen our knowledge of what work related services are available; from ‘asking the work question’ projects, to delivering vocational/occupational health assessments/treatments/rehabilitation. Create points of contact. Help networking occur across the UK. Enable occupational therapists to connect with similar services and learning potential. Gather general statistics about services available across the UK. Promote the profession in this field so we can assist clients needing Occupational Therapy services in the future. We are currently working on a GDPR compliant method to try and keep this survey as a live entity. The results up until end September 2019 are available to see in this Powerpoint presentation that was given in November 2019 RCOTSS Work Mapping Occupational Therapy VR (PDF, 1.45MB) Useful linksOccupational Health Documents Working for a healthier tomorrow Carole Black's review, looking at the health of Britain's working age population.
