To continue to deliver community occupational therapy assessments whilst being advised to no longer carry out any routine home visits during the COVID emergency.
The Change
Offering clients the opportunity to have the occupational therapy assessment started by telephone.
The Impact
It is not ideal as it is usually best to see people and where they live however this has worked very well and most people have taken up the offer and the feedback has been very positive. We are in turn also reducing our waiting list.
