The Challenge
Sally had an unstable inflammatory condition, one of her fingers was affecting her ability to function. Being unable to enjoy craft activities and baking time with her grandson was particularly upsetting.
The Change
A bespoke Thermoplastic static splint was moulded to position her finger in extension and used when trying to carry out crafts or daily living tasks.
The Impact
Despite the other symptoms from her fluctuating inflammatory condition Sally reported being delighted to be able to be to sew again and do a baking activity with her Grandson.
