BAOT/RCOT Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Our 2023 Annual General Meeting of the British Association and Royal College of Occupational Therapists was held on Wednesday 28 June 2023 and chaired by Odeth Richardson, Chair of Council.
The AGM minutes will be published on the website as a formal record of the meeting. The minutes will include the outcomes of resolutions and a record of questions asked and answered.

How do members vote?
Members vote either at the meeting live or in advance by submitting a proxy voting form in advance.
Were members able to ask questions?
Yes. Members were able to ask questions live, as well as submitting them in writing (in the question box). Members could also request to ask a question on camera during the meeting.
What was discussed?
The AGM minutes are available as a formal record of the meeting. The minutes include the outcomes of resolutions and a record of questions asked and answered.
- Chair, Odeth Richardson ran through the RCOT Annual Report and shared highlights of the year.
- The results were announced for the BAOT/RCOT Council elections for 2023/24. The report of voting from Civica can be found at the bottom of this page.
- A report was given on BAOT/RCOT finances and the audited accounts.
- Consideration and voting took place on resolution 1: members resolve to appoint Moore Kingston Smith as the auditors for BAOT and RCOT.
