Service users and their loved ones were unable to view services before agreeing to admission for care and treatment due to COVID-19 visiting restrictions.
The Change
The OT team produced a 10-minute video tour for prospective service users and their loved ones.
It toured the hospital's facilities showing a typical ward, bedroom, therapy resources, introduced staff, and provided information about the local area.
The Impact
Service users loved ones, and referrering professionals could use this information about the physical and social hospital environment to make informed decisions about the person's care.
