Memories of CYPF Conference 2022
How time flies! A year ago this month, CYPF was hosting its “Occupational Equity: Occupational Therapists as Agents of Change” virtual conference. CYPF Conference 2022 brought you keynote presentations from Drs Dana Anaby and Elizabeth Schmidt, with contributions from the RCOT’s CEO, Steve Ford, and Professional Advisor, Sally Payne.
As with all CYPF Conferences, the service-user perspective was central to the day-long event and, in 2022, Aimee Grayston presented on her journey through occupational therapy services and beyond. A highlight of CYPF Conference is always the debate and last year four occupational therapists argued for and against the assertion that occupational therapists acting as ‘gatekeepers’ might actually be inhibiting occupational equity.
