RCOT commercial activities - how we do business
To help ensure that the RCOT can provide high quality membership benefits, services and content to members, we seek to generate revenue from a number of commercial sources. These include advertising, sponsorship and other partnerships.
In addition to the funding these activities provide, partners and commercial activities can help us to provide rich, relevant content, amplify our voice and support member engagement. Whenever we engage in commercial relationships we make sure that the organisations we work with, and the products and services they seek to promote, will be of interest to members, and relevant to their roles and working environment. However any such transaction, relationship and partnership is not an endorsement or recommendation of any products, services or point of view.
We don’t work with organisations that could compromise RCOT’s goals and objectives. We also won’t work with any organisation whose products and services could cause conflict with RCOT’s ethical investment policy.
All income from commercial sources is used to support the delivery of member services and benefits and any partnerships or transactions we enter into are always considered against our charitable and professional responsibilities as a membership association.
If you have any views on this policy please let us know – contact commercial@rcot.co.uk.
