RCOT Specialist Section - Housing
This year is we are delighted to invite you to join us for our first in person conference since the 2019, now that all covid restrictions have been lifted we are very much looking forward to seeing you in person. This year we are joined by RCOT’s CEO Steve Ford who will address delegates and answer questions from members.
This year’s conference has a focus on the lived experience and how we use our homes, workplaces, and communities, we also have updates on research that has been happening over the past year or so. We are also hosting workshops on the second day that focus on using technology and managing risks when prescribing equipment and adaptations, adaptations in rented accommodation outside the social sector and the work the section has been doing in collaboration with Foundations.
Conference Aims and Objectives
- You will demonstrate a commitment to professional and personal development in the specialist and varied field of housing-related work.
- Develop your professional network and share innovations in practice with colleagues from a variety of work environments.
- Get involved in the housing debate, promote the need for greater awareness of inclusive, accessible, and affordable housing.
- Identify the practice issues in significant emerging areas of housing need.
