Long COVID and financial hardship

We understand that some members may be affected by Long COVID and may not be able to work as usual, and in some circumstances may be suffering financial hardship as a result. In those circumstances, ​although we ​are not able to offer membership rebates or discounts, ​we do have a number of support services in place for members: 

• UNISON’s There for You service offers financial assistance for RCOT/BAOT UNISON members experiencing a range of financial difficulties. 

For members who are suffering from Long COVID and have had to give up work but would like to retain RCOT membership, we offer reduced rate Career Break membership.
